NICU at Kashiben Gordhandas Patel Children hospital is serving the community since 35 years, which is managed by highly qualified and skilled team of senior consultants to ensure highest standards of care. The team members who will help care for your child includes an elite team of Neonatologist, pediatric specialists in sub specialties which include Surgery, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Neurology, Hemato-Oncology , Gastro-Enterology , Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmologist etc. In addition we have social workers, occupational and physical therapists, who are specially trained in neonatal care. The unit is also staffed with well trained, skilled and experienced nurses. They form the backbone of our services.
Our physicians, nurses and allied medical care professionals who work in NICU have extensive knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience to quickly assess and treat patients so that the neonates can achieve the best outcomes possible from critical illness or injury that requires special care. 14,784 critically sick children were treated in last 10 years at our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Out of which 3,345 children were treated in special preterm care unit.
